This form sample uses preceding-sibling to default a new row in a repeating table to the values in the row immediately prior. It also has a row counter that combines preceding-sibling with the count function!

I used this in one form, but I cannot for the life of me get it to work in another form even though I'm using the exact same structure. count(preceding-sibling::groupName) + 1 Works fine in one form count(preceding-sibling::anotherGroupName) + 1 Tells me it doesn't point to a valid location. I tried count(preceding-sibling::anotherGroupName/FieldName) + 1 and got the same error. i'm pulling my hair out over this b/c I'm pretty much duplicating what I've done in the other form and it won't work. Any suggestions?
