Thanks for this Clay, much appreciated
I will run this by our IT Manager and will let you know what happens. What we were thinking of was to publish the form to where our official College website resides and have a hyperlink (pop-up window) within the website to this form. Hello Helena
Try creating an Identical view with all the Controls disabled(except the drop down) , something like Read Only.
You can switch to this read only view when the status is changed in the drop down or when the form is submitted.
Hope this helps you

Interesting scenario! Sounds like you are hosting InfoPath inside your Winform. That's possible in InfoPath 2007 but I didn't think that was possible with InfoPath 2003. Can you try to upgrade the project to IP2007?

Hi Tome,
Where are you running the form from? Is it published to a local machine or a website? Is the SQL database in the intranet domain?

Hi Jattbadmaash,
That's strange. We'd have to look at your form. Is it a Form Services form or is it running in the InfoPath client?
