What operating system are you running? If Vista, it could be a system permissions issue, and you might need to setup InfoPath to run with Administrator rights before this will work.
(Just a guess).
-
Technically, that should not have caused an issue. It's simply a filter and those are supported in IP03 if it is on the main DOM. If its on a secondary DOM, then that might be an issue.
-
Actually, according to your original post, the issue appears to be with the XSL file itself.
You could try extracting it out (an XSN is just a renamed CAB file), and test the XSL to see if there's been some corruption or it is otherwise invalid for some reason.
-
If you are working with a XSN file, then all the supporting files are typically contained within the XSN itself. It is possible to make a connection to a secondary data source that is not contained within the XSN. This is typical of database and Web service connections, however it is also possible with XML files.
If the above were the case, then ...

Hi Carolyn, I am trying to link a drop down list box in my InfoPath From to a choice type column in SharePoint. I was just browsing the forum and I found your post. I was wondering if your source is used for something similar. I am pretty new to InfoPath and have only created some CAML to submit to a list in SharePoint.
Thanks!

Right now I just want to write to an external Text file to make sure I'm getting stuff(Testing only)
this is what I've got so far:

It is dificult to convert a complex form over to webbased.
I would download the Database Accelerator Developer and look at the webservices and the free forms viewer. Qdabra Database Accelerator Suite Version 2.0 - Developer
This would give you the ability to at least do some free testing with webbased forms. The Forms Server from MS is very ...

I would think that a text box would be the best but there maybe some things behind the scenes but I think it would be limited to remove its basic functions.
-
So you can finally get your XML file into a DOM, right? Great!
If you share out our XML file and the code you use to read it maybe I could see why you're failing to read the data.

I would think an expression box would be fine. If you have the user's default time zone somewhere or they enter it. You may want a table that would provides your offset but if you are only going to have US users you probably can code it in your formula.
