Infopath 2007 Web form without MOSS

    Hi

I have created a student application form for our College to be used within the College's official Website over the Internet.  This form contains seven different views which can be navigated (using switch rules) through using Infopath buttons. We do not have MOSS but are using SharePoint Services 3.0   Here are my queries:

    1. How can I convert this Infopath form to be used successfully over the Internet, which should include all views as well as keeping navigation between these views, without MOSS?
    2. I would wish for the submitted form be sent to a single email address, which I know roughly how to do. Would this still be possibly over the Internet?
    3. Would the navigation between views be permitted across the Internet using the said navigation buttons?
    4. As mentioned above there are hidden views, which the potential student will not see, that are to be used for staff only. How could I go about for staff to view and possibly edit these views 'after' the student has submitted the form?

Any help would be much appreciated.

It is dificult to convert a complex form over to webbased.

I would download the Database Accelerator Developer and look at the webservices and the free forms viewer. Qdabra Database Accelerator Suite Version 2.0 - Developer

This would give you the ability to at least do some free testing with webbased forms. The Forms Server from MS is very expensive.  I would think you would need to look at simplifying or use InfoPath on the client.

Let me know if you need more assistance.

Thanks for this Clay, much appreciated

I will run this by our IT Manager and will let you know what happens.  What we were thinking of was to publish the form to where our official College website resides and have a hyperlink (pop-up window) within the website to this form. In the future (hopefully we will have MOSS, I have heard it is expensive!) I would like to see this form submitting data to a SQL database and a sharepoint site.

Also, we were looking to convert the whole form to PDF so that all views are within a printable format. I have converted one part of the form while previewing the form but will only convert this previewed form but not the remaining views. Any ideas on this?

    Many thanks again,

    Ali.
