Of course you could write code in your InfoPath form to write to SQL but it would require SQL client permissions. How would you achieve the same if the table is not repeating - i have manage the make and model show unquie based on the filter of year and make (respectively) but wondering about the year field.......how would i be able to able to apply the filter on year to show unique values ??

Well, loadXml takes an xml string of a form "<tag><anotherTag/>...</tag>", not a path to a file. So first you need to load the text from file using FSO and then you can load it into an xml document via loadXml

Table border

This may sound like a dumb question, which, it probably is, but for the life of me, I cannot seem to reset a table border back to what it was before I changed it.   Am I missing something here that is just too obvious for me?

Sharepoint Site Infopath Form Auto-populate Username

I have an Infopath form on Sharepoint Website. I have a username field in the form that is bound to userName(). The problem is that it always  says 'Administrator' no matter who is logged in the site. Could someone point out what I am doing wrong or what I need to do different? Thanks.

InfoPath doesn't supply any sorting functionality. You could write code to sort the nodes once loaded from the data source, or you could find a way to make sure that the data source returns the nodes pre-sorted.
