My mistake, sorry. For a button it's eventObj.Source, not eventObj.Site, but looking at your code it looks like you have the wrong path anyway. The path should be relative to the repeating node, so:
printername = eventObj.Source.SelectSingleNode("my:Multiple_Printer_Name").text
not
printername = ...

I overlooked your variable 'xnMyForm' -- I bet that is pointed to your Main Data Source, and, of course, the XPath you are using won't be valid against that.... you'd need something along the lines of:
string RFCID = ...

The example is long and confusing, I know. When you say 'The condition on this field' do you mean you have rule set on IDEmpty? If so, you need to have another rule that changes IDEmpty -- rules only fire if the field the rule is set on changes. You could have an open rule (Tools / Form Options / Open / Rules) that sets IDEmpty to true if ...

Great, so the information for drop down with Company is coming from the same SharePoint list as the Contacts? I found my solution, but am getting one minor validation error. I used the information in the post below to create a Sharepoint list with the dates I needed.

The error I'm getting though is the red dashed border ...

We've got Infopath 2003, WSS 3.0 and SharePoint 2007. In another message, I learned how to create unique filenames [concat() function] for my Infopath documents.
If I start a workflow (new Infopath form) and "submit" it, it generates a unique filename, which includes the "now" ...

Hi again OC,
Sounds like a bug in your form. There is this thing called "event percolation". If you have tied your rule to a field and that rule updates the same field, it could cause an infinite loop of rule firing. Without looking at your form, that's my guess as to what's happening. One rule is causing another rule ...

What's the error you are seeing?
Thanks for the link. Too bad that calling MOSS webservice requires full trust since that will complicate deployment of browser based forms slightly.
