We cannot move the root node (the top node). And we cannot move the second level nodes to top level that is why Move up is grayed out. If you check out move down is grayed for the last node in second level.

No need to delete the rules manually in manifest.xsf. Just delete those in the form and save the form. Now verify the logic inspector.

I am designing a form and would like to email several people after the form is submitted, and the edit form code is disabled in the buttons properties. I’ve also noticed that the Tools, programming, all the sub menu items are disabled. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Can someone suggest a way to print forms that can be scaled to fit 1 page or at least 1 page width?

I'm using an infopath 2007 and I've deleted some rules that used to be part of the form. I noticed, when I reviewed the logic inspector, that the Rules are still there.

DISREGARD.
Figured it out. The Repeating Table creates rows with TextBox controls. You just have to delete the existing TextBox control in the column you want to replace with your Drop-Down List and everything works fine. I even have the Drop-Down List populated from my SQL Server. Very nice.

This is great and I will certainly try this. However, when I use the Assign a to item it creates the task and puts the xml file link into the email automatically. Is there any way to edit that to open in the browser?
