Hi,
What if its not a repeating group?
Here is my mapping file below.
The field I am filtering is called IP1 in my form and where it is set to "N" I want it to submit so I assune the filter should be written as
[my:IP1 !="N" ]
Where do I insert this in the text below?

That makes sense.
It means nothing is sent to the DB but email with the form data is delvered.

So the issue is when opening existing XML? You can specify in the form template (File --> Form Options --> Versioning) that you want to update existing XML - but keep in mind that this may have unanticipated consequences (if a node is no longer present in the form schema, your existing XML will have the node removed, for example). I don't really understand the question, I'm afraid. Is this column in your list? The same one you are submitting to? If so, perhaps instead of your formula you could have a hyperlink column and submit from your form to that (but I guess that doesn't handle for the situation where there isn't a form for the list item - unless you ...

One other problem that might be common...........................

When I insert a table in forms, the table borders are gone so I can't see the rows and columns.
I can add borders after insert but I'd rather the borders appear by default so I don't have to add them every time.
Where is the setting for that in InfoPath 2007?
