All,
I'm after ideas on a clean way to do the following.
A form is submitted from an employee to a manager.
The manager reviews the form, doesn't like the form and asks the employee to update the form and then resubmit it back to the manager.
As I see it the employee will fill out a form - stage/view - 1.Initial submission and then press a submit button.
The manager will open the form/view - 2. Manager. - not like what he sees. Email or tell the employee Not good enough. The manager will press a button to close the form and reset the form back to the previous stage 1.Initial submission. Thus the employee will open the form back at the previous stage and be able to submit it again.
I think this might be the simplest option as I don't know how many revisions may be necessary for the form to be signed off by the manager.
I'm not sure how this will work with a workflow and email confirmation of submission etc.
Has anybody else done anything like this?
