Hello, Facing this issue after updating webservice (This is main data source ) ,use to feed data to infopath form . Webservice is now pulling some additional parameters to feed exciting controls on form . Form is browser enabled having custom code for load event . Event log : " Event Type: Error Event Source: Office SharePoint Server Event Category: Forms Services Runtime Event ID: 7056 Date: 10/3/2013 Time: 4:05:05 PM User: N/A Computer: MyComp Description: The form template failed to load. (User: ---, Type: SchemaValidationException, Exception Message: Schema validation found non-datatype errors.) For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. " I can open new form browser passing querysrting parameters (here webservice gets call) , however while opening a existing form I am facing this issue. Also noticed structure and schema of .xml schema is now changed . I have followed http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/10956/38987.aspx , but no luck

 So the issue is when opening existing XML? You can specify in the form template (File --> Form Options --> Versioning) that you want to update existing XML - but keep in mind that this may have unanticipated consequences (if a node is no longer present in the form schema, your existing XML will have the node removed, for example). You can save an existing XML locally and then preview the form with the data to help troubleshoot (File --> Form Options --> Preview).

tried  (File --> Form Options --> Preview) did not worked for me. Got error file can not be opened.

 

 After updating main data source (which is web service) of info path form I was not able to see "upgrade existing form" option in version tab .

Able to enable update existing form option by saving template by diff name .

However still I am facing same issue.

Is it because schema has been changed ? I am not deleting any node but adding additional nodes by web service .
