I need a quick help on this, i have three fields field1, field2 and field3. i have to set value of field3, to the difference between field1 and field2, example:100-50=50 and 50-100= 50 it should not display negative number. thank you

add a taxt box control where you want to add date, and in properties set data type to date, and  in the value field insert today() function. and make sure the check box for 'update this value when the result of the formula is recalculated' is checked.

anson, is there any way to display the actual name of the person who fills the form instead of just username, i want to use the username field to set the value of a field to display the firstname, lastname of the same person.

Hello Ken, you can import the spread sheet to a sharepoint list and create the columns view, and from infopath form you can create a data connection to the sharepoint list. Then create a dropdown field control in infopath form, go to properties and lookup values from data connection, it will auto populate those 100 values in drop down list.
