  • Re: Form Deleting from Sharepoint site, not from DB

Hi Mario i take it that you by ''the form is tied to a sql server database'' means an InfoPath form that connects to a database? SharePoint has no knowledge of what happens inside your IP application, so its quite logical that your database isnt updated. To make this happen you could try and hook up on the ''delete'' event in the sharepoint ...

  • Re: Add Sharepoint List Items with InfoPath

Thanks for the reminder about changing the list length in WSS. I have another question. Is there a way to populate the fields in the ''add to'' table with data from other fields in the form? I don't see how to access ''add to'' fields in design mode, so I can't set their value via the field properties. I don't want the user to have to manually ...

The PrintOut function is for printing the form from your code. It can be used inside the OnClick event. But it does not print the buttons that are on the form.

  • Multi fields

Searching for information on having say 4 fields over 3 pages of a set of Infopath forms, where when I enter data into the first field, the same data is duplicated in the other fields in the balance of the set of Infopath forms. Does anyone have some information about this capability or lack thereof? Thank you.

  • Retrieving the Logged On UserName in a Form

We have been trying to figure this out for a couple of days and don't have the best solution yet. There HAS to be an easy way to do this. It is such a basic concept. We want to capture the Logged On Username (Active Directory) automatically and place it on the form. We have successfully done this on the Form Open using the following code in ...
