    PickList and Lookup

I'd like to be able to pick a vendor's name from a list in SharePoint and then get the vendor's address, phone and eMail address as static text on my IP form.

Is this supposed to be easy?

    Thanks for helping!

You need to populate the list as secondary data source.
    1. Tools
    2. Data Connections
    3. Click Add inside Data Connections window
    4. Click Receive Data
    5. Select SharePoint library list
    6. Enter the location of the SharePoint
    7. Then select your list

    And just follow the wizard.

    Good luck!

    Thanks Stephanie.

I've got the secondary data source on the form that points to the SharePoint list valled "Vendors".

I've got a drop down list that gets it's options from that list; when you click the drop down arrow, you get the list of vendors from the SharePoint list.

When I select a vendor, I want the "Primary Contact" field to get populated with the value from the SharePoint list. I'd like to make it read only, and somewhere I'd like to tell it something like:

"Get the vendor name chosen from the drop down list, take it to the SharePoint list, find the chose vendor name in the SharePoint list an then look over and return the Primary Contact's name from the SharePoint list."

Has anyone ever done an @DBLookup in Lotus Notes?

    JK
