So - somehow, field120 on this one form has the xsi:nil attribute - that is usually added to fields like date or number when blank. You could download the file, then open it with a text editor, find field120 and remove the attribute, then upload it again - it will probably look like and you can just remove the entire attribute: ...

Excellent - glad you are all squared away. It took me a while to really understand current() in XPath, but it really is the answer to a lot of these "filtering in a repeating group" questions. Have a great day!

So - when I changed the filter to select the Vendor field in the main DS, InfoPath used the absolute path to the vendor - which would not have helped the situation at all. :) Instead, I manually changed it to use the current() function. Since the rule is on the Vendor node, which is in a repeating group, current() will always return whatever ...

The formula probably needs to use the "current" function.... in the formula editor, can you tick the edit XPath box and then paste in the full XPath in a reply?

Any chance you can attach your template (under the Options tab in a reply) - the XPath filter for this will depend on your data sources.... Also, just in case you weren't aware, XPath is case sensitive, so if your list data is actually "In Service" instead of "In service" for example, you won't get a match on that text ...

Good job figuring it out - glad this will work for you :)

I'm wondering if you want to show text A when the sum is less than 2, and text B when it is more than 2? Or is it that both texts show if more than 2? I've attached a sample - save the form locally, right click, select design. Then you can preview and try it out. I ended up using sum and the union (|) operator in my form and I did make the ...
