    Show / hide fields depending on the sum of other fields

     Hi there,

    I'm a newbie to InfoPath and English is not my mother's tongue, so excuse when my writing seems a bit clumsy. Here's my problem:

    • I've got 5 radio button field, Yes and No buttons. The Yes button is value 1, the No button is value 0
    • I'ld like to show text A when the sum of 5 radio button fields is more than 2;
    • I'ld like to show text B when the sum of 5 radio button fields is more than 2;
    • If none of the  5 radio button fields is selected, the text should be hidden

    Could somebody please put me in the right direction?

    Thanks!

    Greetings,

    MarinusPJ

    I'm wondering if you want to show text A when the sum is less than 2, and text B when it is more than 2? Or is it that both texts show if more than 2? I've attached a sample - save the form locally, right click, select design. Then you can preview and try it out. I ended up using sum and the union (|) operator in my form and I did make the assumption that only text A or text B should show....

     YES, YES, YES.

    Although it took me quite a while to figure out how to create the calculaled fields, it now works like a charm. I'ld say: Hilary for president! (I bet you've heared that one before :))
    Thank you very much.
