Last » Migrate a SPD 2010 workflow with custom Infopath 2010 forms Hi Everybody, It has been some time since I have been involved with design of SharePoint workflows and customizing those with InfoPath. Here is my problem: I am trying to restore a SharePoint Designer 2010 workflow , associated with a library (InfoPath template), which accumulates data during a 6-step workflow process to ... Hi Luke, I am glad you found a solution, which works for your case. Curious, if you do this ," I set up a data connection to query the Ref Number column in the document library and the form adds 1 to the highest value" on Form Load? If so and several people open and take their time (let say an hour to complete) and more ... If your e-mail could somehow be tied to a task (an action item assigned and the e-mail is notification of such task), then you can use "Overdue repeat" in the Approval step (Advanced properties in the menu, when the step is selected). By default it is set to weekly. You can also specify "OverdueRepeatTimes" (by default ... Luke, that may not be enough in cases, where forms could be deleted or multiple people submit simultaneously (editing sometimes takes long enough, so many people start same process) Then the total number of documents will decrease and will cause a number duplicate. Now if your column is also defined as unique/index, then your form will ... Posted to Workflow (Forum) by Den12 on 05-03-2013 Re: Do sharepoint workflows ever expire? Not exactly, but if an admin "removes" the corresponding version of the workflow associated with the item, it might cause the "thread" to "disappear", even though the item/document will remain. If you have a more recent version of same workflow, it will not "take over" the action of the old one. It will ... It always exists as is CreatedBy, but preserves the last person who edited it and allows being updated depending on who wrote the last review. Combine that with permissions to a Manager group, which is the only one allowed Contribute or higher permissions, so you ensure that only valid managers ... "Insert" is trying to put the new child node after "CurrentStatus" I think. Once I made the repeating group the last one in groups where regular nodes and repeating nodes ... You just need a library column to show it, no need for property promotion for updates or when published to more than one location. The workflow could be activated on-new-item create and even ... On the right: attempted delete in browser. Errors shown. The update to the SP list was successful (I verified on the list itself, not just the visual update shown on the form/screenshot), deleted the middle row and ...
