Currently, the same form in a SharePoint library can be opened by several users and InfoPath does not give the message like "another user has open form". Do you know how to enable this? In the link that you mentioned, there is no explanation on how to implement the lock down. Is it done by managed ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by rom@n on 10-27-2009 how to notify users that form is being updated by another user and open in read-only mode Hi, I have browser-enabled InfoPath forms in SharePoint and I have an issue of multiple users opening the same InfoPath form that had already been saved/submitted before, and having it updated at the same time. I know that InfoPath will save only changes made by the user who opened the form first. Is there any way to notify the ... There are hundreds of fields where the postback was set to either Always or Only When Necessary...I tried to set most of them to Never. I did not notice that performance improved yet. Maybe it is because the business logic is so comlex, there are hundreds of fields, rules, conditions set up. I will see what else I can ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by rom@n on 10-23-2009 how to stop browser going back to server each time change in the form? Hi, We have a very slow performance of some complex InfoPath forms we have. Expecially when users access them from geographically far locations and have low bandwidth. These forms are not managed-code forms, they have more than 5 Views each and each View consists of approximately 20 dropdowns/textboxes, which are pulling data from SharePoint list ... Secondary data connection to SharePoint list had "Include data for the active form only" checked. I unchecked it and now it works fine with both Data Validation and the Rule ways of validating text box user inputs. Thanks! I tried it in two ways. First, I put a condifiton in Data Validation of the text box as "FormField1 is equal to SharePointListField1" and typed some text in Screen Tip. ... I did like you said, forced it to open in InfoPath. And now I have more detailed error here. Frankly, I don't quite understand what permission it requires. I'm publishing the form using sysadmin account, and I'm trying to open it using sysadmin account too. This account has most full ... Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by rom@n on 10-14-2009 An error occurred accessing a data source. Log ID:5566. Hi, Here is my situation. I have an infopath form with several data connections. Some of them are pulling data from static XML files, the others are pulling from SharePoint lists. There is one SharePoin list with product names in it, which I'm using to populate a dropdown list in the form. The list sorts the product names according to ID, not ... Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by rom@n on 10-05-2009 Re: Problem with populating forms from SharePoint lists Hi Patrick, Thank you for your advice! Today I figured out the problem. As you said, some filters were appropriately set. I compared to other filters on other controls, they had different expressions. But later, when we published the form, I had the same problem with other controls, which didn't have such problem before. The form is so ... Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by rom@n on 08-19-2009 Problem with populating forms from SharePoint lists Hi, I have a problem with a complex InfoPath form in out SharePoint portal.
