Hi Ken,
This is a big limitation in InfoPath that we have talked to the team at Microsoft about. Your best bet here is to create multiple views so that the users can page through the data entry. If you limit your views to 50-100 (or it seems like 300 in your case) fields the performance should be fine.
Hope this helps!

Hi Hans,
That code is indeed for JScript, you just need to capitalize DOM. The only way I can think of how to do this with rules is with our Active Directory web service. Assuming you have AD, you can issue a GetMyInfo call and it will download all info about the current user into a secondary DOM in your form. Once this is done, you can ...

I don't think it can be done.
I spent a lot of time on this problem.
In the end, I think it's because Infopath itself needs to send the email through an email application, so it uses whatever your default email app is. But it can't just send a message. It always requires a confirmation - which makes sense. Imagine emails being sent from an end ...

Yep. It asked me to upgrade, which I did.
Your talking about the ''Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Tools Office Second Edition'' patch from the homepage?
Done that, no change. Installed the two .Net 3.0 files as well with no effect. However, the Workflow install linked in the homepage called itself VSTO and wanted to reinstall when I ran it, which ...

Hello Vantuykom, what are the symptoms that you are encountering when trying to fill out the form? Could you type up the complete steps of how you published your form?
Before deploying a complex form, I would recommend a ''hello world'' approach: have a form that does nothing but set a value of a field in its OnLoad and see if that works.
Things ...

I had thought of that but was trying not to create another field. Thanks for the info!

You are mixing XPath and C# -- this won't work.
In your OnLoad function, set the value of some field based on the IsNew property. Then use conditional formatting based on the field value.

Non.
...
var NomVue;
NomVue = ...

Is it possible to use this in an expression to disable a button. I tried to use not(thisXDocument.IsNew) but it's not working. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey Grant, Welcome.
Can you explain the exact problem a little better. It sounds like the form and the process are working for you and your manager. He is able to approve them? But the problem is when another group and manager use the form?
We will probably need a more detailed explanation. To do this same process, and take it to the next ...
