And even cleaner (with window closing too!!!)
Application.ActiveWindow.Close(false);

If you are opening the template file, it will ask you to upgrade. You shouldn't have to blow away the Windows install. You should be able to install VSTO 2005 and then the patch (linked to from our home page).

Sounds like the MOSS installation did not occur completely/correctly. Can you do a ''Repair'' on the install?

I normally like to set up my data source something like the following if I am going to be populating drop-down boxes:
<Config>
<Months>
<Month value=''1'' name=''January''/>
<Month value=''2'' name=''February''/>

<Month value=''12'' name=''December''/>

What version of VSTO you installed? VSTO for VS2005 is different to VS2003. If you installed correct version and still not getting then once reinstall every thing.

Hi JLProgrammer!
If the form was created in InfoPath 2003, it should open fine in InfoPath 2007. However, the reverse is not necessarily true.

And the answer is....
var oXmlHttp = new ActiveXObject(''MSXML2.XMLHTTP'');
oXmlHttp.Open(''PUT'', XDocument.URI, false);
oXmlHttp.Send(XDocument.DOM.xml);
This of course only works when you are opening an existing form, but it works very nicely. Now, to get the window to close....hmmmmm

Hi Alex,
Another method is, take an extra text box field in data source with 0 as default value, and apply a rule for every response increment the extra field by 1.
After that apply conditional formatting on response text box that if the extra field is greater than or equal to 3 then make it read only.
Hope this will help you.
