I am having difficulty in adding functionality to a form based on an external schema. I need to add controls that are used to help workflow and proccessing of the form, but not add data to the xml document.
Is there a way to add controls just for form work flow?
Thanks,
Ren

Sorry -- should have noticed you said you were using browser form. There's a lot of functionality not available to the browser forms. Why you can't display a message box (basic JavaScript alert() functionality) is beyond me.
Good luck!

If you want, you can hire the Qdabra team -- most of which are active on these forums...

Ted, do you have a quick sample of how this works? Just some stub code, etc?

The target node can be whatever node you want. Often the easiest for myself is to make it the root node. Since you can make up your own property names, you can have as many named properties as you want on any given node.

Ted,
I am having an issue inserting my images and explanations to you. If there another method I could use to send you the information?
You can email me at my work place.

Hi Checco,
It is possible, do like this.
The syntax is :
count(../my:Persone/my:TurnoSerale/@my:Causale[. = "Turno"])
You will get the Result.

Hi Michael,
Screenshots would be good, include one of the data structure too.
