Using Infopath 2007 and Qdabra ADservice, I would like to extract Active directory values (GetMyInfo) as string variables, using the 'FormEvents_Loading'
event within VB.net, so I can use those values for further code. Would anyone know how to do this?

What is the default of my:startNumber? How is it set? Does this error pop up when the form opens? Is section number a number or text field?
What I would do is create some expression box actions that would display both my:startnumber and section number. One at form Open and then at intervals through your process to monitor these values ...

You created a new form, from scratch, as a database form.
It should have given you a default form view with a query section and a data section and default buttons.
You should be able to add the query fields and the data fields as sections with controls in each area and then preview and test. You ...

OK..I htink it has somethin gto do with the repeating table being on a different view...I have a seperate view to display several fields and want the user to pick a row from which I will popluate a few fields on the main view...I copied a button that displayed some chicken tracks from the main view to the second view and got the same nastygram ...

Just started working with webservices created from SQL2005 SOAP Endpoint creation...which pulls data nicely onto the form...problem is trying to read a field value of the repreating table...I do this all the time with database connected fileds, but can't seem to get the syntax right...or it's a namespace issue...
