Hi
Your problem is that the form is not re-saved to the form library after approval so unless you get SharePoint to set the value in the form without opening it your approver would have to open the form to approve and then re-submit back to the form library to effect the change.
I hope this helps you

Hi
From memory you can publish a column in Share Point that shows who the form is locked-out to. Then send them an email.
I hope this helps

Hi
The easiest option might be to filter the forms to only show the 'my forms' filter and also filter on most recent that should sort out only displaying the most recent. As to moving the old form on, that would require manual intervention or coding, unfortunately, I am unable to help you with the latter.

Hi
When you choose to select a field to set, there is a drop-down box at the bottom of the window that allows you to select this occurrence, all occurrences, any occurrences. Use this to select 'all occurrences'

Hi, another thing I just noticed is that your one of your tables does not have a primary key, this prevents submission.
Fix this and you can query and submit.

You can use C# with InfoPath 2003. You will need: Visual Studio (Express edition should work), and the InfoPath 2003 Toolkit for Visual Studio .NET (see the InfoPathDev.com homepage for links).
There are different toolkits depending on which version of Visual Studio you are running. I think the homepage link is expecing 2003 and not 2005.

There is an XDocuments collection which can give one form access to another open form's DOM to make selections, copies, edits, etc.

SetNamedNodeProperty() is being used incorrectly.
The parameters are: (NodeToWhichThePropertyWillBeSet, NameOfProperty, ValueOfProperty)
You are placing an XPath in the second parameter which is not a valid property name. The first parameter needs to be a valid node.
