Hi All
I have an infopath 2007 browser-enabled form that contains a data connection to a web service that returns a list of active directory users. This then populates a drop-down list in the infopath form. I have created the required data connection library and udcx file for the data connection and the udcx file(s) are approved. I can ...

Hi
Sorry, shjould have welcomed you to the forums!
OK, I think the issue you are having due to the query being run again on submit and the form getting confused. That is why it is better to have it on a button so that it doesn't re-run.
To store the result you would need a field in the first database to act as the sum of the hours in ...

Thank you for being so helpful, but there's still some issues..
I figured out a way, almost like how you said, to type a client's name and then it fills the address and the other repeating table also. I had to make a whole new form that was not blank, but rather based on a database so I could get the query options. But now I ...

2. If you have a lot of fields, you can create ...

Sorry - SharePoint does not support a column of file attachments.
You might be able to write some submit code that copies your attachments to a document library, and then stores the URL to that attachment in a field value which is then promoted as a column.

Are you adding the promoted properties when you publish the form, or in the designer using to Tools | Form Options menu? It makes a differnece. If you do it while publishing -- that's a one-time deal and must be done over and over again. If you do it from the tools menu, its a permanent deal (until you delete them).

I've never heard of doing that. What do you mean by "only show the data for the active form"?
If you are talking about just "showing" certain fields from the returned collection of fields -- I'm guessing you already know that you can just delete some columns off the repeating table to show just the fields you want -- ...
