Hi to the InfoPath Community!
I have been using InfoPath for about a year ... But recently I have come up with a problem and would really welcome your insight.
One of the top requirements of the project is that the end-user can print one of three views directly on an A4 page.

Attached is what I have so far. I currently have sections containing the primary and secondary employee listed, and was intending on hiding all but the correct one using rules. Why? Why do you have the same dropdown getting values from different places? I'd guess that the field is set to an ID number that doesn't exist in the other list.

I have a field in a form view called 'Requester's Name' , it would be useful to be able to auto populate it with the name of the person who initiated the form. Is there a way of doing this?

Hi
Its from the form itself.
I set up an e-mail field and created a load of rules in the location field where if a specific country was chosen to set the "email" value to the recipients email address

As long as the control is bound to the same field, you should see the value selected. However, I do notice that the dropdown in the IQ Fields is using a different data source for its options - could that be the issue?

How are you sending the email? From the form itself? What are your submit rules? Or are you using workflow?
-
Indeed! However I'm now getting the following error:
The following location is not accessible, because it is in a different site collection: http://server/FormServerTemplates/file.xsn.
Thoughts?

Ah - I'd forgotten about admin approved. :) So - your submit needs to use the library you want your forms in. With an admin approved template, you are using content types, so your library will be set to use that content type. But as you've learned - these things can be configured separately.
