Daniel- Hi again. Need your help again about this. I'm using our solution in a project I'm doing. I'm using a Access 2003 database as my Main source in both forms. I'm running into an error at the end of the code. it's not setting the value on "form2" textbox 2 with the value from "form1" textbox 1. I think ...

Thanks, I turned up logging in Central Administration to see if I can figure out why these errors are popping up sporadically.

No, because it's not an actual file that gets opened locally - it's all an ASP.NET page.

If someone fills out a web form in MOSS 2007 and gets a critical error while submitting. Is that form cached anywhere locally in temp internet files or another location where it could be recovered? I see that it didn't make it to the form library, and my initial assumption is that it is lost.
Thanks,
John

well reading large data sets from a db into a browser isent normally an issue, as I've developed plenty of Java web apps in the past that have read from large databases without much performance issues, I may try and bypass infopath altogether in this case. Thanks for the suggestions.

Do all users have the version of InfoPath you used to create the form template (XSN)?
-
I published the template (.xsn) via InfoPath's publishing wizard. I have uploaded template files before but rarely do that (is that what happens when you don't publish?). At any rate, it is published and some users get the error and some users don't so scratching my head.
Thanks for any pointers!

Did you actually publish to the form library, or did you upload the template as a file?
-
So what did you learn? I don't have a book and would like to know the solution to the issue as I am seeing the same thing with some user accounts but not others. Thanks.
