InfoPath 2003 form to SharePoint 2007 Form Library

I have an IP 2003 form with a main connection to an Access 2003 DB. I am trying to publish this form to a SharePoint Form or Document library. When I publish the form, everything publishes fine but when I got to the SharePoint site and click new, I get the following error message.

"The document could not be created.
The required application may not be installed properly, or the template for this document library cannot be opened.

    Please try the following:
    1. Check the General Settings for this document library for the name of the template and install the application necessary for opening the template. If the application was set to install on first use, run the application and then try crearing a new document again.
    2. If you have permission to modify this document library, go to General Setting for the library and configure a new template."

If have gone into the General Settings and have verified that the "Open in the Client Application" checkbox is checked instead of "Display as a Web Page". When I try to change the template name in the Document Template area, I get another error saying:

    "Invalid template URL

The template must exist in the Forms directory of this document library. Create the template in the Forms directory, and then re-type the Web address. Note that you cannot move or copy a template into the Forms directory."

I don't know what this message is telling me. Can you explain this message and help me correct both of these errors.

    Thank You for your help.

    Ralph

After I got home from work last night, I was looking at my Sharepoint 2007 book and it gave me the answer I was looking for. Duh. Why didn't I read the book in the first place. Sorry for any inconvenience.

So what did you learn? I don't have a book and would like to know the solution to the issue as I am seeing the same thing with some user accounts but not others. Thanks.

Did you actually publish to the form library, or did you upload the template as a file?

I published the template (.xsn) via InfoPath's publishing wizard. I have uploaded template files before but rarely do that (is that what happens when you don't publish?). At any rate, it is published and some users get the error and some users don't so scratching my head.

     Thanks for any pointers!

Do all users have the version of InfoPath you used to create the form template (XSN)?

Yes, created on 2007 and all users are using 2007.
