I think you can use the "current()" function.
The current() function gets the data of the line.
I think the syntax would be current()/id...

that one was for submit connection only, Tell me how many data connections do you have, and how much time does it take to change data connections.
are you using code behind.
unused data connections can give you lot of trouble. so avoid unused data retrieving data connections.
I would suggest, you use only one template, and before publising ...

This is one solution.
You can too put a default value to a control outside the repeating section.
You click the "fx" button and you can do the sum of the chechbox control (which taka 0 or 1).
So, it will sum all the 1 and you will see the number of true response.
In order to have all the question, you can use the count function.
-
So in this case, each data connection that I want will need to have 2 connections, one for DEV and one for PRD. For example, retrieve a list from Sharepoint will have one connection to DEV sharepoint and one connection to PRD.

I think you must try to use a CAML Query by code to do what you want.
It's the most easely way.

i hope your have a check box for selecting the question. put a rule on the checkbox, if the checkbox is selected increment a global variable by 1, if the checkbox is unchecked decrement the global variable by 1. after the user is done, you will have the count in the global variable. (by global variable i mean one that is outside the section )

i think you are missing doing it wrong, you have missed out activating it to a site collection, and setting content type of some doc/form library to this new template. i guess u need to read this
http://sharenotes.wordpress.com/2008/03/18/using-stsadm-to-deploy-upgrade-update-infopath-forms-templates-with-managed-code-behind/
tell me if it ...

does your functionality require you to populate these fields every time the form is opened or you can just populate them once. I guess the person going into the library either does not have access to the list from which data is picked or his record does not figure up there
-
you can ask them to save the form from broswer as *.mht file and it will be sort of offline backup and they can also submit the form later on.

I know this should be simple
I have one view returning for example 4 columns from a single table into a repeating table, based on a date range.
I can see the record id In each row, I can add a button next to each row to click to show the full details of the record (it has to go onto a single page so the master detail control is no good.). ...
