Hello again, I posted a question last week and got a good response, however I have a newer issue.
I have Infopath 2007, I am hosting this form on a sharepoint server. I have a windows form that has 2 buttons, one that creates a form and another that opens the form. when the button for opening the form is clicked, it queries sharepoint and ...

Hi all,
I have written a submit web service who takes the form data as a string and then performs the necessary processing. To make sure that the web service is used correctly, I would like to validate the string against the form's XSD schema. I also do not want to adapt the code every time the datastructure of the form changes. The form ...

Glad to hear you got it working.
UDC files are the best practice if you have SharePoint. If you don't have SharePoint, you can still use UDC files but it's slightly more complicated.
Bottom line: using UDC files allows you to abstract the data connection which makes it no longer hardcoded in the InfoPath template.

I finally ended up getting it to submit... I was testing using the rich client... It ended up being that name space on the web service... I had it set to a name for the web service.. // Redirect to close the form

Please see above - while in read-only mode, the users must not be able to delete or replace the attachment, but they must be
able to open it. This is working perfectly in InfoPath03 but not any
more in InfoPath07 it seems.

Hi Sean SharePoint,

If that doesn't help you diagnose the problem I suggest calling Microsoft Support to get the skinny on debugging IPFS.
We have done this before, but we try to stay away from it. It's not an ...

Hi Jonathan,
You can get the processing instruction from your form's XML which should have the PublishURL href attribute containing the URL of your web page. Check out the following post and send me email if you can't get it working: http://www.infopathdev.com/files/folders/misc/entry30112.aspx

Hi JSherman and welcome,
Have you converted your Web Service data connection into a UDC connection? Can you try debugging this with the rich client first? Otherwise, I'm afraid we'd have to look at your Web Service and the form. Or, you could quickly install a free trial version of DBXL (Qdabra's Web Service) that will integrate your ...
