    Views and buttons

Hello again, I posted a question last week and got a good response, however I have a newer issue.

I have Infopath 2007, I am hosting this form on a sharepoint server. I have a windows form that has 2 buttons, one that creates a form and another that opens the form. when the button for opening the form is clicked, it queries sharepoint and opens the form in its default view via the web address of the form on our intranet. I desperatly need the button to open the form but in its second view from the open button I have created. How can I get the second view to display from a web link to the form?

    Chris

You just need to shift your logic.  You don't open forms to specific views on command, but rather you add rules to the Form Load logic to tell the form which view it should switch to based off some known information that can be compared.  If you must pass a value with the button, then it may have to be a URL query parameter that sets a value in the form, and your form load rule condition checks that value for a match.
