I have deployed the form with some additional code into a form library. I see a huge difference in performance and was wondering if it would be different if the form would be deployed by the "administrator approved form template"? I am a site collection administrator, but I assume I dont have these rights.

For the test form with code, you can click Ignore when prompted for the visual basic project and continue to publish via the publishing wizard.
