    Qrules Injection

    Hi,

I created an xsn that saves to a library and submits to a list using the trial version of qrules. It works perfect when I preview the form.

However I get the error below when I try to publish the form.

THE FORM TEMPLATE HAS BEEN PUBLISHED TO THE SERVER BUT CAN ON,Y BE OPENED IN INFOPATH FILLER BECAUSE IT CONTAINS FEATURES NOT COMPATIBLE WITH BROWSERS.

TO FIX THIS CLOSE THE DIALOG BOX AND REVIEW THE DESIGN CHECKER.

I recreated my form and stripped the form back to two fields to see where this error was coming from..

I published my form with the two fields but as soon as I inject qrules and try to publish I get the error. There are no errors in the design checker.

To test the theory I took another working form from another library.

When I try to publish it after injecting qrules  I get the same error and also some design errors saying that code on the people/group picker is not allowed for sandboxed solutions even though I injected as admin deploy.

The form works in preview but will not publish properly.

Can you assist? If I can get this working I will be buying your product. Impressed so far until this hitch.

    regards

Hi - your picture is not showing. Can you attach the screenshot under the Options tab in a reply?

    Hi Barry,

    Can you check whether:

    1. The sandbox code service is running on the server?

    2. You are a site collection administrator?

You could try publishing a form with code (non qRules) to test the above. I'm attaching one for your convenience. Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks.

     Hi Ernesto/Hilary

    Thank for the assistance.

I have checked the running services in the CA and cannot see a sandbox service. Also checked the services on the server. I am assuming that the sharepoint services is where I should be checking. I went into manage service applications. Is this correct?

I am a site collection administrator.

When I try to publish the no code form I get an error saying the visual basic project cannot be found and is referencing a location on Hilarys machine.

    Regards

    Hi-

Here's a reference on turning on the sandbox service:

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff535775(v=office.14).aspx

For the test form with code, you can click Ignore when prompted for the visual basic project and continue to publish via the publishing wizard.

     Hi Ernesto,

I have enabled the sandbox service and the test form has now published and it did not publish before I switched on the service.

Is this to say that my form should now publish? I will test this after your next reply of that is what you would like me to do next.

If so, why does the sandbox service need to be started as qrules is deployed as admin deploy and not sandboxed?

    Regards

     Hi Ernesto,

Sorry, I have just tested my form with qrules installed and it has not published properly. Same error telling me it has published but is not browser compatible and to check the errors.

I have retested your test form and it has published properly again.

    Regards

In the qRules injector, did you select the browser option?

    Hi Ernesto,

I reinjected using browser and sanboxed and it has worked!

Thank you for your assistance to date. I now need to publish my complete form but based on this it should be fine.

    Thanks

    Barry.
