How about using a picture button instead? The picture would be exactly the same as the option button - I attached a sample image. I'll reply again with an image of a selected option button. This way you can trick your users into thinking they're still clicking on an option button. =)

So I had a simple app that queried the listdata.svc using REST in SharePoint/InfoPath 2010. I tried moving it the new environment and I get some not fun errors including an Access Denied.
I can browse to the page just fine.
I am wondering if this is a known issue with the latest version of SharePoint/InfoPath.

Thanks Mel. I'm thinking my strategy of setting an option button at form load is not the way I should go. I really want to load a new form when an option button is selected but it doesn't appear that this is possible without custom coding. I see I could use a standard button, that allows me to open a new form, but I don't ...

First of all sorry for my bad english. I'm from the Netherlands. But anyway, I will do my best :)

Hilary, thanks for that so I put my thinking cap on, and decided that the times displayed would only be for e.g: 09:00 09:15 09:30 09:45. The values would then be 9.0 9.25 9.5 9.75 and similarly for this finish times. Total hours worked is then a simple subtraction of the start time from the finish time and all works perfectly. :-)

There isn't a maximum number of rules, as far as I know. If you have more than 5, you can change your last condition to an expression and then separate the succeeding formulas with AND/OR. Let me know if you need more info.

Your repeating group will need a field that marks each course as booked. And then for the validation check, you would want to count the number of rows in your repeating group where the course is booked; and if it reaches 30, don't allow adding more.
I attached a sample form with the basic proof of concept - hope it helps.

Hi - have you thought about using web services for your form? For the SharePoint list submit, you can use InfoPath's stock submit functionality to submit to the list, but submitting to a SQL database at the same time would probably need a web service. We do have a DBXL document service that allows submit to SharePoint and SQL - feel free to ...
