Maximum number of rules on a section

    All,

Is there a maximum number of formatting rules on a section? Most of my rules only have  a single condition. I know you can only be default 5 conditions within a rule.

    Thanks

    W

There isn't a maximum number of rules, as far as I know. If you have more than 5, you can change your last condition to an expression and then separate the succeeding formulas with AND/OR. Let me know if you need more info.

For the life of me my rule on the section wasn't working. I was checking to make sure that X number of fields weren't blank.

So instead I created a button which checked all the fields. Although not as clean it does take care of changes to fields as  refresh option too.  I also add a 'hint' text field so the use knew which fields were blank.

Sounds good! Glad to hear you managed to come up with a workaround :)
