• Re: Autopopulate email subject line

donstephen, I have tried your suggestion and I am still coming across the same problem. I have the "Submit/Send E-mail" button assigned to a rule which states that the "Save As" field will be populated with the value entered in the "TTU ID" field when the button is clicked. Once that rule goes through, ...

  • Re: SharePoint List form look up values

Hello Hillary Nice solution. I'm facing a similar problem. Now, when I check on the field properties, on the query field I see different options than the data field. Specifically, I'm trying to query a value, from a multiple lines of text column, which is shown on data field, but not on the query field. What alternatives do you see here, ...

  • Re: I have a challenging one for anyone up to it!!!!

Sorry but 12 groups need to be involved in change control? 9 workflows? Hello red tape and politics! Has anybody put this process down into a diagram? I'm betting there is overlap and wastage somewhere. Workflows work sequentially. 1,2,3. If you have a screen shot of your assessment form, upload that. 19 fields isn't that many. It ...

  • Re: INfoPath - User Permissions & Shared Discussion

Rob, Point 1. If you want people to amend a drop down list I suggest you put the choices into a SharePoint list and use that as your data source. It's much easier to control access and you don't have to worry about version control and installing InfoPath designer onto X number of machines. If you meant only certain ...

  • Re: Section in another Section

I assume you're using InfoPath 2010. You can have a parent section. I assume you are talking about controls here and note visually to a human being. Then you can literally move/copy another section into your parent section. If you need to. Add a parent section to your form, change the binding control, then add another field ...

  • Re: How to Specify Field for File name when Submitting to SharePoint List

If your column name is "greyed" out.. it indicated that it is a column that you created when you promoted it from infopath.. if that is the case go into "form options" > promotion properties> find the field you are referring to and "modify" in the settings there .. you will find a "display name' field.. ...

  • Re: Display RTF from secondary datasource

I got this working by having a rich text box bound to an HTML field in the main data source by using this code on form load: string s = DataSources["REST Web Service"].CreateNavigator().SelectSingleNode("/ns1:ArrayOfRisk/ns1:Risk/ns1:Details", ...
