I have a form that I need to submit a bunch of the fields to a different form. The webinar above was exactly what I needed. I have it creating the form now by ...

never mind that last post on the now(). Someone here just pointed out that the field name on the now rule was not the same as the rules on the text field I was working on. They are named too similar, unfortunately. It was a start date field and it indeed does have that out of the box rule.
Sigh - monday morning, and I don't drink coffee. ...

I am looking over all the settings this morning, and have a question about something odd.
As far as I know, I have one rule in all of this app so far.
The rule inspector shows this:
Validation
Proposed x0020 LAP x0020 Code: "Rule 1"
conditions
Proposed x0020 LAP x0020 Code != "" and

Oh - you also asked about sponsering department's lookup.
Sorry - just noticed when your message was redisplayed.
Sponsoring department is a single selection dropdown on the department name column of my department numbers and names list. This lookup not only has department name column but also includes the department number column. In this ...

Apologies! I assumed it was a newbie question as I have only been working with InfoPath for a very short time!
The article, as I can see, is submitting multiple lines from a repeating table to a SharePoint list. I have done a similar thing to this by creating an xml data source and using this as a "holding" place for ...

Hi Jacqui,
If you have activated your form to a site collection, I assume that you published it either as a content type or an admin-approved form template. You can make use of this template by adding the content type to the SharePoint library you wish to open it from.
Please refer to this article for instructions on how to do that: ...

Hi Doreen,
This is strange. It should update for you so long as the existing forms are re-linked to the content type. Are you using filler? If so, I'm wondering if it might be a caching issue. If you are using the browser, please download one of he XMLs and check the form in notepad. Verify that the href attribute at the top of the XML ...

Hi,
I have a web browser form that I have activated in my main site collection, but want the form to be available in the sub site so would be something like http://myurl/mymainsite/subsite/.
It appears in my main site in the form templates section so if I open from http://myurl/mymainsite/FormServerTemplates/Forms/All%20Forms.aspx it will ...
