Hi donstephen,
Thanks for your attention. I may not have been clear in explaining my problem.
For clarity, I'll call the the form I am trying to design and the sharepoint list behind it the "Source" (form, list and item), and the sharepoint list I am trying to add to - the "Target".
I want to open a new item in ...

Hi YK
Are you attempting to update existing items in SharePoint? If so, you would need to change the command to Update instead of New, similar to the XML below:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<Batch OnError="Continue">
<Method ID="1" ...

Hi Veera8,
Please check this thread for tips on how to exclude certain dates such as holidays when calculating dates. Another alternative you may attempt to use is qRules' DateDiff command which allows you to include a repeating field or field in a repeating group with holidays that should be excluded in the date math. This sample has the expiring version of qRules injected into it and may need to be re-injected to work correctly.
The sample form demonstrates using DateAdd in a repeating group, and includes a Holidays XML to demonstrate exclusion of weekends / holidays.

A little late but I stumbled across this looking for something else.
SP Designer Workflow will only send an email to something that has explicit permission on the item. It isn't sending the email because the 'assigned to' person doesn't have explicit permissions on that item. It doesn't matter that they are in the ...
