Yes you would need to digitally code sign the form like you do for ActiveX controls on a web page (same cert is used for IP). Or you need to create an MSI install package that each user would need to install.

For #1) You will have to write code to copy from the secondary data source into the main data source.
For #2) The easiest way to do this is to open a stub XML file with a node with the ID and then onLoad have the InfoPath form query the DB with the parameter and then do #1.
Also, another way to approach this is to redo the form as connected to ...

Interesting. This text is hardcoded and automatically added by InfoPath at runtime. If you add a control to that empty section does the Signed By text show up?

Hi and welcome to our forum. I can only imagine that it is some sort of configuration issue. I believe to get it to work properly VSTO should be installed first before InfoPath.

Hmm. This should just work. It may be a SharePoint bug. Be sure you're running the latest Office 2007 Beta 2 TR.
-
This issue can be caused if you have old/incompatible versions of InfoPath on the client and server. Specifically different beta versions. You must verify that you are running Office Beta 2 TR on both the client and server. We found this was a problem another time as well.

This is a problem because the way SharePoint launches IP forms is via some script in the underlying page. Are you trying to open a browser-enabled form in a new browser window, or expecting that it will still open in the rich-client?
-
That is very odd. The Print View should not display any differently in the browser. How did you create the Print View? This may be a dumb question, but are you sure the field is on the print view?

Also, in InfoPath 2007 you can specify many of the most common custom merge parameters directly through the designer UI without having to write a custom XSL. :)

What is your expected merge behavior for this field? Do you want the merged form to show each tech's total separately, or do you want it to add them all together?
