Open Infopath form in new window

    Hi

I have a wss3.0 form library that is associated with an infopath 2007 form template. I can successfully create a new form and save it. However when I try to open the form by right clicking and "open in new window" it gives me the error "Requested registry access is not allowed". if I use browser to type the URL of the xml, it still gives the same error. Does anyone have any clues.

    Thanks
    Priya

This is a problem because the way SharePoint launches IP forms is via some script in the underlying page. Are you trying to open a browser-enabled form in a new browser window, or expecting that it will still open in the rich-client?

Thanks for your reply. We were trying to open the form in rich client. This issue however got resolved recently for us. Our WSS beta install complained that "it had expired". On reserach we found the following articlehttp://mindsharpblogs.com/ben/archive/2006/09/23/1299.aspx
This also resolved the issue of being able to open in new window.

    Thanks again

Hi! I have exactly the same problem and i don't know what to do. If i use infopath client, there is no problem. When i try to publish, it also gives an "unexpected error" and "Invalid form template" in the Browser compatibility (verified on server).

I have enterprise features activated in all site collections.

    Hope you can help me.

I really needd to publish web-enabled forms in sharepoint, using infopath.

    Thanks
