Submitting by e-mail w/out hitting send

I have added a submit button with the e-mail address I need, however, when I hit submit I then get a dialog box that shows where my message is going and the attachment. It requires that I hit send in this box. Is there a way to avoid that and make the submit button send it directly?

    Thanks.

The only way to do this is to manually create the email package in code and make the form Full Trust.

The reason for the requirement to have the user click the send button is to avoid email propogated viruses. If sending the email didn't require user intervention it could be an attack vector for malicious viruses etc.

    Hello,

I recently encountered the same issue that hrmjs had.
Can we publish a Full Trust form?

My project sponsor wants less buttons to click.
On my form, I have buttons for approval/rejection. Then, the approver must click a "submit" button, which triggers another dialog box which requires another click.
This step seems to be redundent.
Then, at the end when every step is done, I'll have a message box to tell user that the submission is successful. It is another click by user. Is there any way to 'shorten' this process?

    Thanks.

    Hi,
Yes we can publish the Full Trust form, but we need to sign it before or after publishing the form.

    Thanks

Yes you would need to digitally code sign the form like you do for ActiveX controls on a web page (same cert is used for IP). Or you need to create an MSI install package that each user would need to install.
