Hello,
I'm working on Infopath 2010.
I removed a data connection in my form. Now, Infopath tell me an error "The data source "...." referenced in the form template is not valid or cannot be found.".
How can I found easily which control use this data source?
Thanks in advance for your help! :)

Thank you. After more digging, that is what I found. Our IT team is not forthcoming or willing to make a change. I have been able to go through a back way using a Workflow. It gets the job done which is all we need. If I can ever find a willing Admin, I may be able to have them fix the permission side on the server.

Hi,
The Central Administration should be on your server:
The 5566 error you are receiving is an account permission issue and would need to have the UDCXs configured. Please check the link I have provided in my previous post for more information on the 5566 error you are receiving.

[quote user="Bre Huston"]Hello Dawndev,
This was a rather tricky filter. Because the filter applies to the main DS we must use the full xpath to the node in the main DS. Here is the filter that was on your last form:
not(. = current()/my:deviceType)
and the new:
not(. = ...

When I try to access the template I get the following errormessage.
"One or more sources to fill out this form cannot be reached.Should InfoPath continue trying to connect to data sources for this form"
Please advise what cause maybe and how to resolve this issse.
Thanks,

Hi Manju,
I understand that you would like to validate fields based on the current view and I would suggest using a hidden field to hold the current view's value - then add the condition to the validation. Your condition would be something like: Field9 should not be blank if CurrentView is equal to View2.
Hope this helps.

Hi rmare00,
May I know what kind of errors you are receiving? Maybe we can use a few conditions to disable the submit button and prevent the user from submitting forms until conditions are met. Also, you may want to check out qRules' GetErrorCount to see if there are validation errors and force the form to close based on the returned ...

Hi Shane,
To my understanding, you would like to display repeating data in the email in a viewable manner. We had a webinar that discusses sending repeating data as HTML in the email (click link below)
InfoPath: Workflows that email repeating data as HTML
Would this approach work for you?

Hi avukaj,
There are different methods for submitting repeating entries to a SharePoint list, and I recommend using CAML which I am more familiar with. Please check these guides below for reference:

Webinar: InfoPath: InfoPath Dashboards & Repeating Data
You may want to try out qRules' Sumit ...

Hi gearm5556,
I don't think automatically refreshing the page is possible, however you can redirect the form to open up a new page after hitting the submit button. You should look for the “source” query string parameter in the form’s URL, and change it to a certain page.
The page URL to “source” parameter decides which page to navigate ...
