Hi all, I am looking for a way to have a pop-up message appear to notify the user when a value falls below zero. Is there a way to do this through rules? I am with a large corporation that does not allow me to code in the background.

I found another way which is to use max(ID) + 1
Actually my intention is to get the latest running number in the system.
At my previous post I was using old method, using SharePoint list to contain the running number and IP form will obtain the running number upon clicking a button.

In order to display an Alert Message, you need to use an extra view.
So if the conditions are correct execute a view switch. Set up the view however you want.
If yes, they return to the previous view. If no, the text box with the "Alert Message" appears and once data is entered a continue or any other button ...
