ahh great, thanks, that does help. Although I've noticed that when I select something from the DDL in field 8 and insert another row, the first row and any subsequent rows will default back to 'select...' rather than what was selected. What I've been doing to get around this is creating another column and putting a hidden text box. Instead of ...

I am looking for a way to make sure the value of a control is blank if the control gets hidden. Based on what I have seen so far, if you hide a control, for example a textbox, and you have already typed something in it, when the control gets hidden, the value is still there. I have a lot of conditional logic in the form I am working on, and when ...

Most of my forms have 20 - 30 optional sections. Thanks for trying this ...

Hi Marien,
The code example given is in C#.NET, which is managed code. You are using JScript. The equivalent in JScript would be as follows:
var oNodeList = XDocument.DOM.selectNodes(''my:myFields/my:group1/my:group2'');
var oNode;
while( (oNode = oNodeList.nextNode()) != null )
{
if( oNode.nodeType == 1 )
{
var oField = ...
