ahh great, I did get this to work using secondary data sources. To get the secondary data source I created a form with a repeating table with two columns, one for displayname, and one for value(thanks Matt Faus for this info in another post). Then opened the form and filled it out with all the data I needed, then saved it as an XML.

Matt,
Sorry, I am really not trying to ask for an e-handout. I am just trying to get an idea of what's required. You've given me enough information to get me started - thanks.

Thanks for the response Matt. Unfortunately, that's not my issue (but it's a feature that I can use!). In fact, I tried the expression (twice--using ''.'' and ''@Category'') and instead of filtering, I got ALL course titles, regardless of category.

I'd like to provide a link to an InfoPath form from a Web page. Clicking the link should do the same thing as if they had clicked ''Fill Out Form'' from a Sharepoint list. What should that link contain?
Thanks!
