I have a form that has a group of 10 check boxes. When the user clicks one of the check boxes, 2 others on the form highlight with an error of only True or False allowed. i have checked all over in the form and also in the manifest. I can't see why my form is doing this. Does anyone have any ideas on this??

maybe this is a dumb question, but how do i change the background of the buttons. logically, i would think i would have to right click on it, go into borders and shading, but in the option box, i can only add custom colors.

Yes, you should be able to use drop-down lists to accept input for your CAML. It might be a little more difficult, however, because you will need to accept input from the DDL into the Main DOM, and then copy that value into the secondary DOM (the CAML template) right before you submit to SharePoint. You also might want to check out using Promoted Properties. In the last step of the SharePoint publish wizard you are given the chance to add promoted properties to your form. If you add these properties, you will be able to have a quick glance at some of the information from the form because it is displayed in columns right there on the library ...

I noticed that when you try to print an Infopath form, half the page is usually out of the print area so there's no way you can have the form in its full width on a single sheet.
To avoid that, I wrote a CSS stylesheet that I tried to include in view1.xsl :

You can either right a little function and put it behind a button to do this, or use the more elegant solution presented by Ned at the InfoPath blog:http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2236

Hm, I don't think you will be able to make transparent buttons, so splicing up the image will have to work. It's too bad, because this method is a little more work :(
