InfoPath Dev

I have a drop down list being populated from a sharepoint list. If i open the form in Infopath the list in alphabetical order (which is what i want). When the form is opened in the web browser the items in the list seem to be ordered by creation date.

The default view on the List is sorted in alpahbetical order.

 I am using MOSS

How can i control the sort order within the drow down list??

No not yet. The only way I can thing of doing it is to take the data out of the XMLNaviagator and through it into an array and then do a bubble sort (or another sort) and then repopulate the list with the now sorted data.

I just don;t have the time to write and test it and there must be a quicker way of doing this.

 It seems that the order in the web form is based on created date so it is sorted somewhere, i just dont know where.

If you find a solution please post.

I am also having the exact same problem.  The only thing that I have noticed is that if I open the template in SharePoint by using windows explorer view, and going in to the forms folder, then the template will open in InfoPath with the drop down sorted correctly.  My guess is that means that the template is getting saved correctly and that the problem is in the html rendering of the form.
