    Re: FullTrust and Certificate

When you get the email from TrustCenter, copy/paste the link inside the email (somthing like 'https://www.trustcenter.de/fcgi-bin/Install.cgi?ID=5751..........') to the MS IE. Then install the certificate (Zertifikat installieren). All I get is the info, that the certificate was installed successfully.

In "Cryptographic Service Provider" I could use "Microsoft Enhanced Cryptographic Provider v1.0". If you only could choose "Microsoft Basic Cryptographic Provider v1.0"
because of your MS IE version (I have the export version of the MS IE ???), I do not know what happens then.

    Re: FullTrust and Certificate

You have to download and install the certificate for Trusted Root CA Class 0 (for this demo certificate). Then the error will disappear.

see https://www.trustcenter.de/set_cacerts_en.htm and look for "Class 0 certificates valid until April 14, 2013" at the end.

With this code signing certificate I was able to sign the form, publish locally and open it on another PC without connection to the publishing place.

    Good luck

    Re: FullTrust and Certificate

    O.K! I did it, but....

In order to sign my form I go to Tools->Form Option->Security
Then I checked the Full Trust security level checkbox and checked the "Sign this Form" checkbox, select the demo certificate and click OK.
After this I publish the form to the server. wgen
I open again in design mode and go to
    Tools->Form Option->Security
The "sign this form" checkbox is not checked!!!!
Is that normal? Why it's happen??

HI. Yes this is normal. The checkbox will uncheck each time it is opened in design mode. Cheers. Scott.

    Re: FullTrust and Certificate

When I publish my form (with full trust and code signing certicifate, I accept the certificate while publishing), then I can use that .xsn-form (with the security warning I have againi to accept the signature as user). If I open the form in design mode, then my form is still signed.

    Hi Lior.

OK what design mode do you use. i have done a test and if the design mode is Visual Studio the security checkbox will be unchecked OR if design mode is InfoPath the checkbox remains checked.

    cheers. Scott.

    I am not sure what you are saying? Is it;
"Can i sign the form on my local machine several times and publish to different servers each time?"
If the above is correct, then YES.

    Cheers. Scott.

    Re: FullTrust and Certificate

    O.K! now it's a new problem!

My form's code has refernces to a Web service. The directing to the web service is done by:http://localhost/WSname/service.asmx (because the code's form was wrriten in the same machin/server as the Web service located).
Now.... after I sign the form, I published it to
\\MyServer\InfoPathForms. I located the Web service in "MyServer" too (to keep on directing of "localhost"). But...when user client try to open instance of the form from the template which settled on \\MyServer\InfoPathForms
there is an error - the reason for this is: The template code settled on the server ("MyServer") BUT it serach the webservice in localahost (client station) and not on the server, which mean that I need to put the webservice in the Inetpub/wwwroot of each station (and I dont want to do this)
If the form's code work from the server so why it's not refere to web service which in the server too???

    How to solve it?

    Re: FullTrust and Certificate

Hi. Can you confirm that the DataConnection element within your manifest contains the correct URL for the webservice webreference i.e. the server. Cheers. Scott.

    Re: FullTrust and Certificate

Hi Scott! can you be more specific? Do you mean that I should change line in the manifest file? How to do this.
I will add and explain that :
    1) My form contain Data Connections to the Web service
    2) My Form code is a .NET project (C#) that contain Web Reference to the Web service

So I have 2 types of access to the web service. I know that I can replace (in both types)http://localhost/WSname/service.asmx
withhttp://MyServer/WSname/service.asmx but I have spacial reason for using "localhost" definision. What can I do???

    Re: FullTrust and Certificate

    Hi.

In your manifest there is a <xsf:dataObjects> section. this details all the form DataConnection information.
for a webservice you will see
    <xsf:query><xsf:webServiceAdapter wsdlUrl="http://localhost/WebServices/TaskPane.asmx?WSDL" ...
change this to your fully qualified path. e.g.
    <xsf:query><xsf:webServiceAdapter wsdlUrl="http://MyServer/WebServices/TaskPane.asmx?WSDL" ...

i am curious of your special reason for having to use localhost?

    cheers. Scott.
