Reply Contact welcome karlm to our group i think all you need to do is substitute "."(dot) by " " (space) and remove SECURE/ substring-after(translate("SECURE\abc.bd.dd", ".", " "), "SECURE\") instead of "SECURE\abc.bd.dd" specify your field name. This was making it a lot more easyer. I was trying with somthing like this: concat(substring-before(substring(.; 8; 50); "."); " "; substring-before(substring-after(.; "."); "."); " "; substring-after(substring-after(.; "."); ".")) But it did not work, so thank you for a better solution who looks like this: substring-after(translate(.; "."; " "); "\") The only issue I still have to solve is to translate from: jan halvard aase to Jan Halvard Aase (UPPER case) 09-02-2009 02:24 AM In reply to Qazi Anis Joined on 03-13-2009 Chicago Posts 1,025 Re: Help inserting formula Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer...
