    Help inserting formula

Hi! I have a problem. I would like to translate and edit som fields. Look at the two different lines to be translated and the result i want og get.

    • Field to be translated: SECURE/per.kaare.johansen    (example)
      • Translation should be: Per Kaare Johansen
    • Field to be translated: SECURE/kalle.krank    (example)
      • Translation should be: Kalle Krank

I guess i have to use substring(before and after, translate and maby more functions. I have tried some soulutions but I can`t get it right. Can anyone help me?

i think all you need to do is substitute "."(dot) by " " (space) and remove SECURE/

    substring-after(translate("SECURE\abc.bd.dd", ".", " "), "SECURE\")

instead of "SECURE\abc.bd.dd" specify your field name.

Thanks a lot! This was making it a lot more easyer. I was trying with somthing like this:

    concat(substring-before(substring(.; 8; 50); "."); " "; substring-before(substring-after(.; "."); "."); " "; substring-after(substring-after(.; "."); "."))

But it did not work, so thank you for a better solution who looks like this:

    substring-after(translate(.; "."; " "); "\")

The only issue I still have to solve is to translate from: jan halvard aase to Jan Halvard Aase (UPPER case)
