  • format a string and add a space.

Hi, I have a field where he user enters a UK Vehicle Registration number in the format AANN(space)AAA where A is a letter and N is a number. It will strictly remain in this format. Some users will enter the data without the space and this will cause lookup rules to fail. Using concat and substring, I...

  • Executing eval on a delimited string

Hello, Ok, I just found that my line breaks are not showing up, so this will be hard to read -- my apologies. I'm trying to pass info out of form's repeating table. Unfortunately, I cannot use QRules because of network security policies. My solution is to build a delimited string that essentially...

  • Re: Changing the date format in the File name on Submit

Hi Kei, The reason why you are not getting the 0 digits to appear is because you are converting everything to numbers with the number() function. When the number function sees the value '03' it will convert it into the number '3', because numbers do not have leading zeros on the left...

  • Simple Syntax Problem for Position()...I Hope!

I'm trying to create a Default Value for a textbox that is in a repeating table. Since you can't set up an if-then-else structure for Default Value, I did some research and found this article , which in Method 2 references a nasty concat(substring()) thing that I think might do what I need. Thing...
