Hi, Stephanie Thanks for your helpful reply and I found also we can use Javascript to this, like XDocument.UI.SetSaveAsDialogFileName("Status Report.xml"); Posted to General (Forum) by Jeff.Wang on 10-01-2007 How to change the form name, which is to be saved as? Is it possible to change the form name, e.g. from "Form1.xml" to "Proposal 001.xml", sometime when user is filling the form? So that when user finishes filling, and tries to save the form, the name in the save dialog will be the new name, rather than the default one. It works if you use following codes: my:People/my:Person/my:Email[../my:Name = ../../../my:QueryName] You can simply do this using the "Filter Data..." option in the "Select a Field or Group" dialog. jeff. Hi Clay and Patrick, thanks for your feedback and it helped me. Also I found another way to figure out. In the Tool->Default Values, you can change the default value as you like, this way removes the value I manually input (InfoPath will use the same as the default value). Posted to Controls (Forum) by Jeff.Wang on 06-24-2007 Drop Down List always remember old value? In a form I have a drop down list, and first for demo purpose I manually entered some items, and later I changed to use a data connection to return items in a SharePoint list, but I found when I preview, the drop down list always takes the first item of my manually entered stuff as the selected value, as if it can remember. The more weird thing ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by Jeff.Wang on 06-21-2007 Re: How to repeat a Data Connection in a repeating section? I want to send you the screenshots of my form, but can you tell me how to upload pictures in this forum? The "Insert/edit image" button seems not able to upload files from my local machine, :(.
